The St Bart’s Multi-Academy Trust, in partnership with Governors, staff and children are seeking to appoint a full-time teacher in KS1, in a mixed Year 1/2 class. Initially, this is a temporary post for 2 terms, from November 1st 2019 until May 31st 2020. Experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher. The post would be best suited to a teacher who can offer: effective relationships with children, parents and staff; excellent, creative classroom management skills and the ability to teach inclusively and to a wide range of abilities; a high level of commitment to school development and the use of assessment for learning to improve pupil standards; the ability/expertise to lead and drive a curriculum area ( a particular interest in phonics or Art would be advantageous) ; experience of teaching phonics and carrying out the phonic screening check; experience of KS1 SATs; and candidates who are committed to raising standards and attainment for all children and be prepared to play an active part in all aspects of school life.
