The Head Teacher and Governors of Bollinbrook Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to teach initially in Key Stage 2. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is enthusiastically driving the school forward and building upon our achievements and strengths. This is a fixed term position from 1st September 2021 to 31st August 2023. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers and the school is committed to supporting Early Career Teachers undergoing Statutory Induction, providing two years of high-quality professional development support based on the ECF. Contract Type: Fixed Term – 2 years. We are looking for a candidate who is: An excellent classroom teacher with experience of working in Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2; An enthusiastic and hard-working team player; Confident in their subject knowledge and able to extend and challenge pupils’ thinking; Energetic, motivated, positive with a can-do attitude, committed to high-standards and expectations; Ambitious with a desire to develop their career; Creative, interesting and willing to take risks; Resilient and flexible; Personable with a good sense of humour; Willing to support the Christian ethos of the school; Willing to work in partnership with staff

This job description will set out the duties of the post at the time it was drawn up. The post holder may be required from time to time to undertake other duties within the school as may be reasonable expected, without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibility entailed. This is a common occurrence and would not justify a reconsideration of the grading of the post.
